Why Backyard Boys
Built by athletes. Backed by hustle.
Right pressure for every surface
We don't use the same pressure on a brick patio as a concrete driveway. Our team adjusts technique and tip selection based on the material, so nothing gets etched or stripped.
Same crew as your lawn care
Already a mowing customer? Add pressure washing to your service day. No new crew to vet, no new scheduling headache.
One-time or recurring service
We handle one-off cleans for listings, parties, or seasonal refresh, plus recurring schedules for properties that need to stay sharp year-round.

The Process
How Pressure Washing works.
- 1
Inspect all surfaces and identify material type, condition, staining, and access requirements.
- 2
Pre-treat oil stains, algae, or heavy organic buildup with the appropriate solution.
- 3
Select the correct PSI and tip for each surface — different settings for concrete, brick, stone, and wood.
- 4
Work each surface in overlapping passes to prevent streaking and ensure even coverage.
- 5
Rinse all treated surfaces and inspect for missed areas or remaining staining.
- 6
Clear water runoff from adjacent plantings and leave the site ready to use.
Pricing
What determines your price.
Pricing depends on total square footage of surfaces to be cleaned, the number of surface types involved, and condition — heavily stained or long-neglected surfaces require more time and pre-treatment. We quote after a site assessment.

What this means for your property.
North Texas homes accumulate surface buildup faster than most homeowners expect. The combination of red clay dust carried by prevailing south winds, heavy oak and cedar pollen in spring, algae growth during humid summers, and winter freeze-thaw cycles leaves concrete and masonry surfaces noticeably darker within 12 to 18 months. Driveways in Southlake, Keller, and Colleyville are particularly prone to oil staining from the long driveway lengths common in these neighborhoods. Regular pressure washing removes these buildup layers before they penetrate the concrete surface and become permanent staining.
Pressure Washing: Common Questions
Answers to what homeowners in Southlake and Northeast Tarrant County ask most.
Most driveways in North Texas benefit from cleaning once a year. Properties with large oak trees, heavy street traffic, or long driveways may need cleaning every 6 to 9 months. Concrete left uncleaned for more than 18 months often develops algae staining and oil penetration that requires more aggressive treatment to remove.
Brick and natural stone require lower pressure and wider spray angles than concrete. High-pressure tips that work on concrete can etch mortar joints and damage stone faces. We adjust PSI and tip selection for each surface type. Soft washing (lower pressure with a cleaning solution) is the correct approach for brick exteriors and painted surfaces.
Wood decks require the lowest pressure settings and wide-angle tips to avoid splintering the wood grain. When done correctly, pressure washing removes mold, algae, and grey weathering without damaging the wood. We always test pressure on a low-visibility area first when working on wood.
Fresh oil stains respond well to pre-treatment with a degreaser followed by hot water pressure washing. Set-in stains that have been there more than a year are harder to remove completely. We'll give you an honest assessment of what to expect before we start.
A standard two-car driveway takes approximately 45 to 90 minutes depending on length, condition, and whether edging and sidewalks are included. We typically complete full exterior pressure washing packages in a half-day.
Concrete and masonry in good condition will not be damaged by correctly applied pressure washing. Existing cracks or deteriorating grout can be widened by high pressure, which is why we assess the surface before choosing equipment settings. If we see existing damage that makes cleaning risky, we will tell you before we start. We do not apply high pressure to compromised surfaces.
